“Gardening is a great way for me and my wife to spend time together and heal.”
My Name is Daniel Bivens, first and foremost I want to thank Frontline Gardens for the garden. I Joined the Army in 2003 and met my wife after basic and AIT training. I was stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA from 2004 to 2006, while there I was deployed to Mosul Iraq from October 2004 to October 2005 with the 1st 24th inf. reg. (Duece Four) and in December of 2004 I was wounded by a suicide bomber when he walked into our chow hall and denoted himself. When I returned from deployment I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY where I also deployed again to Iraq from 2006 to 2007, two years after I came back from my second deployment I was retired from the army due to the progress of my injuries. Gardening is a great way for me and my wife to spend time together and heal.
